The Financial Planning, Management and Research Administration team provides support, leadership and resources to encourage responsible stewardship of financial resources. Staff members work collaboratively with faculty and doctoral students to prepare grant proposals and administer sponsored projects. The team also provides data pulls and analysis for internal and external reporting.
Financial and Research Administration staff serves the College as a collaborative partner to help students, faculty and staff with procurement, financial services, budgeting, grant pre and post award and related business support needs.
Business Analyst/Assistant Director

As part of the Business Office team, Camie prepares financial reports and reviews expenditures to ensure budget conformance. She maintains internal control policies and procedures, monitoring follow through and ensuring the department remains compliant. Camie also assists with various business office functions, Concur, ad hoc reporting, supports finance manager, and provides back up to the College Research Administrator. Prior to joining Taubman College, Camie worked as a Senior Budget Analyst for UM Financial Operations and Office of the General Counsel. She received Bachelor of Science Degree from Eastern Michigan University, and is currently working towards Masters of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, Ryan provides decision support using university-wide and college specific data in the form of reports and tools for college users. He also assists in preparation of the quarterly college budget and many of the processes that go into creating it throughout the year. He is available to assist with any Excel and Business Objects issues that arise. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Ryan worked at Accenture doing financial reporting, analysis and forecasting for client contracts. He received a B.S. in Management Information Systems and Finance from Oakland University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
Grants and Research Specialist

As part of the Business Office and Research and Creative Practice teams, Meenu provides project account and budgeting support to faculty and administrators at all stages of the grant process, from pre-award preparation and submission of research grant proposals to post-award grant administration and their financial management. She works collaboratively with both the associate dean for research and creative practice and the business manager and serves as the grants and financial liaison between the faculty and staff, other schools and departments, various sponsors, ORSP and sponsored programs. Meenu is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) and received her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Eastern Michigan University.

As a financial specialist, Jennifer provides financial analysis, reporting, monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, annual budget processing and compliance auditing. She also assists with internal controls, procurement, concur and timekeeping. Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor of science in neuroscience. She has also completed postgraduate accounting information systems coursework at Eastern Michigan University. Prior to joining the college, Jennifer was a financial specialist at the Ross School of Business.
