The communications and marketing staff oversees internal and external communications, including media relations, marketing, events, website, digital signage, hallway displays, and publications for Taubman College. In addition, the staff develops and implements graphic, style, and editorial standards.

Deniz McGee
Public Relations Associate

As part of Taubman College's communications team, Deniz works collaboratively on profile raising projects and manages the college's news room (http://taubmancollege.umich.edu/news), social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, etc.), and event marketing strategies. Deniz also helps create, edit, and manage content for the college's website and marketing materials. Deniz joined Taubman College in 2008. Prior to her current role, she served as the college's special projects manager, working with the Dean to organize over 30 college lectures and two conferences per year. She also served as the Project Manager of the U.S. Pavilion Exhibition for the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. Prior to Taubman College, Deniz worked in Lyon (France), Atlanta, and Boston where her career evolved from chemical engineering to broadcast journalism (at CNN and Atlanta's CBS news affiliate) then to political science research at Harvard University. Deniz received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA.



Liz Momblanco
Graphic Designer

Liz maintains the overall Taubman College brand materials and visual identity. She is responsible for the design and production of marketing and promotional materials from concept to print. Projects include posters, exhibit and event branding, alumni publications, admissions materials, brochures, postcards, signage, stationery, advertisements, and promotional give-aways. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Liz worked at Gyro Creative Group in Detroit and Hour Detroit Magazine. Liz received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Creative Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications from the University of Michigan.



Bryan Ranallo
Senior Web Designer

Bryan manages the content and performance of the Taubman College website. As part of the communications team, Bryan also assists with promoting and marketing College news and events. Before coming to the University of Michigan, Bryan worked for The American Institute of Architects in Washington D.C. as a digital design specialist. There he worked on web content pertaining to the bi-weekly AIArchitect newsletter. He received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications from the International Academy of Design and Technology.



MaryAnn Wilkinson
Exhibition Director

MaryAnn develops and installs an ongoing exhibition program for the College’s two galleries, one in the College building on North Campus and the other in the Research Annex in downtown Ann Arbor. She organizes more than ten exhibitions in a calendar year, ranging from formal architecture methodology to experimental social projects. In addition, as adjunct curator of modern art at UMMA, she advises on acquisitions and other issues regarding the modern art collection. Prior to joining Taubman College, she built a long career at the Detroit Institute of Arts, as head of the Modern and Contemporary Art department and later as Curator of European Modern Art and taught art history ar U-M Dearborn. She holds an M.A. in the History of Art and a B.A. in French Language and Literature, both from the University of Michigan.



Katee Cole
Conference and Events Manager

As the Conference and Events Manager, Katee oversees the scheduling and execution of college events including conferences, symposia, and the college lecture series, in addition to alumni events and other college activities. Prior to joining Taubman College, she worked in hospitality management, sales, and marketing. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business, with a focus on marketing, and is currently pursuing a Master's of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Eastern Michigan University.



Sarah Scott
Admissions Marketing Coordinator

Sarah is a University of Michigan alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in African-American Studies. She recently earned a Masters of Management degree from the Ross School of Business.



Jacob Cofer

Office: 2113


Jacob is a University of Arkansas alumnus with a Bachelor of Arts in marketing from the Sam M. Walton School of Business. He was formerly with Geometry Global in Chicago, where he was responsible for the production of marketing campaigns.
