Alumna Lauren Mitchell Published in JAE
Lauren Mitchell, M.Arch graduate of Taubman College, was recently published in the Journal of Architectural Education. Her article, “Seeing Practices,” discusses normative architectural processes with the goal to discover why these processes are not practiced in everyday America. Mitchell uses her own dissertation project to construct depictions of everyday landscape, from farms to highway systems, with an architectural and spatial intent.
Lauren Mitchell is currently lecturer of architecture at the Clemson University School of Architecture.
