| Description | This course examines social planning at the community level. Social planning is a process to develop plans, policies, and programs related to human services. The course analyzes historical trends and changing contexts, major models and practitioner roles, alternative strategies and methods, and ethical dimensions of practice. It recognizes sociopolitical change and develops skills in several stages of planning. It emphasizes issues of the poor, minorities, and women. |
