| Description | A continuation of Arch 312, this course focuses on the context in which we build, how people perceive the urban environment, how buildings fit contextually into existing circumstances, and how outdoor spaces relate to built forms. Projects include both analysis of existing places and synthesis incorporating the many dimensions of architectural environments. The course concludes with design of a building of modest scale and complexity. |
