| Description | Offered annually in the Fall Semester to students in the Master of Science Design Research program, this course will be thematically linked to yearly emphases in Arch 739 and Arch 720 and is meant to complement program pedagogy. Taught by a visiting faculty member from a discipline of study outside architecture and urban planning. Arch 711 offers students the opportunity to learn diverse disciplinary perspectives on urban culture, institutional identity and approaches to contemporary cultural formations through modeling such inquiry via the proprieties of another discipline. Students receive a minimum of 15 contact hours of instruction and 1 credit hour |
