| Class Title | Modern Matters - Conservation of the Recent Past |
| Description | This course will examine works of modern architecture in Michigan before and after World War 2 by such notable architects as Breuer, Brigham, Metcalf, Mies van der Rohe, and Wright as well as others. Related research and coursework will be the basis for the development of an exhibition to be held in conjunction with Modernism at Risk, an exhibit currently sponsored by the World Monument Fund (WMF) highlighting the significance of preserving architecture around the world from the recent past. The exhibit is scheduled for March 2011. |
