Course List
| Term | Fall 2011 |
| Class | ARCH 503 |
| Class Title | Scrutinizing Buildings |
| Description | To explore various means by which architecture has agency in the world, this course will scrutinize buildings where architectural possibilities become evident in a tentative and incomplete manner, thus opening up challenges to future generations. As the domestic environment has provided fertile ground for experimentation of such issues, we will examine a number of private houses, as well as buildings and building complexes in the civic realm. Students will generate their own building analyses, which will operate in dialogue with those presented in lectures and in relation to issues and provocations addressed in assigned readings. |
