| Description | Students are asked to conduct individually pursued design research from within a supporting pedagogic framework. This studio course foregrounds the plight of institutions within contemporary digital culture; examining the changing expectations we have of institution protocol, the contemporary urban territories within which institutions must operate, as well as fostering concern for emerging subjectivities produced therein. Students are asked to research specific aspects of contemporary spatial practice and to propose and execute specific design research initiatives. |
