| Description | This course provides an understanding of the behavior and strength of framed structures such as portal frames, arches, trusses, and grids as well as an introduction to non-linear behavior. Their behavior is explored through the use of computer programs where students learn to prepare input data, analyze the structures, and use materials design post processors to evaluate the results, including model building and laboratory testing. |
