| Description | This course examines contemporary architectural theory and criticism through the presentation and study of significant texts and buildings of the present and recent past. The goal of the course is to introduce and investigate the formal, technological, social, political, and economic debates at issue within the discipline. Students learn to evaluate and articulate the interactions between theory and practice, thereby enabling them to formulate and assess strategies for the making of architecture. |
