Class Title MS Topic Workshop
Description Taught annually to students in the Master of Science Design Research program by a nationally or internationally known practitioner of design research. Arch 712 is meant to diversify core course offerings within the degree through exposing students to different models of design research, all the while actively questioning the scope of such models. The guest instructor will author a studio design directive for students to explore in conjunction with their individual design research interests. Additionally, the guest instructor will deliver lectures and presentations to the students regarding his/her design research work and frame a series of discussions around the intersections of the work of the students and that of the instructor. Students receive a minimum of 15 contact hours of instruction and 1 credit hour.
