| Description | This course provides a foundation for architectural research and scholarship by introducing students to the philosophy of knowledge with an emphasis on architecture and by presenting a critical review and evaluation of a broad range of theoretical and methodological perspectives within the field of architecture. It introduces the various approaches to the generation and acquisition of knowledge commonly used in the specialization areas in the Doctoral Program but at the same time explores perspectives that unify these areas into an integrated discipline. |
