"These three seminars (ARCH 823, 824, 825) each provide a forum for the advancement of knowledge and the discussion of issues of architectural research and scholarship relating specifically to one of the areas of the Doctoral Program, or, when sections are offered, to a sub-area. A seminar can include: 1. Readings and discussions of philosophies and research methods as well as critical review of research literature pertinent to a specialization area. 2. Discussion of research proposal preparation. 3. Presentation and discussion of student research."
