Christina Hansen is teaching at Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning with focus on urban design, integrated building design, and construction.
She received her Master in Architecture from the Universität Hannover, Germany. Since 1998, she has worked professionally in several architecture firms in Germany and the United States including, B5 Architekten, Studio Daniel Libeskind, and Zago Architecture, where she worked on various projects ranging from urban design, architecture to hospitality design.
Together with Lars Graebner and Gerrit Grigoleit she is a partner of the design studio VolumeOne, an architectural practice based in Detroit and Berlin. VolumeOne is an international practice specialized in architectural and urban design as well as consulting services in construction and sustainable strategies with current projects in the United States, China and Germany.
