Daniel Jacobs

Daniel Jacobs is a New York based architect and lecturer at the Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning where he teaches graduate and undergraduate level courses. His current work and research focuses on the ideological and aesthetic relationship between architecture and spaces of labor. Previously, Daniel worked at SHoP Architects on projects ranging in typology and scope including the Obama Presidential Library, and the Fashion Institute of Technology New Academic Building, among others. He holds a Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture where he was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Certificate and received two Feldman Prize nominations and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis where he was awarded the Frederick Widmann Prize.
