Teaching Areas:

Patrick, an alumnus of Taubman College, completed his education at Harvard. A wanderer, his work focuses on the relationship between ethics, social justice, and the human environment. In this capacity he has worked extensively in Appalachia, the rural south, and South Africa. With a deep curiosity for the local and the diversity of the American landscape, his work addresses cultural memory, place theory, and the philosophy of space.

He has worked in the office of Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects and is co-founder of The Do Tank, an interdisciplinary collective of thinkers and makers interested in alternative design practice.
