Welcome!

Syntax2D is a suite of tools for urban and architectural spatial analysis developed at the University of Michigan. It currently includes the basic space syntax measures of isovists, axial maps, and visibility graphs, along with some newer features such as path-based measures.

The program and its source code are free for anyone to download and modify, provided these modifications adhere to our license agreement.

With Syntax2D, we hope to encourage the space syntax community to share and build upon each other’s efforts across a common framework.
