Michigan Architecture is an internationally renowned, culturally diverse, and intellectually dynamic community of students, scholars, and teacher practitioners.
For over 100 years the mission of Taubman College has been to prepare students for positions of responsibility within a wide spectrum of professions, organizations and institutions whose goals are to improve the quality of our lives and the built environment. The college offers a complement of programs, ranging from undergraduate to doctoral degrees in Architecture, Urban Planning, and Urban Design.
The college seeks to make an appointment in the following area:
Tenured or Tenure-Track Faculty in Environmental Building Technology.
One position in environmental building technology, with a focus on passive and active building performance, energy-efficient building and building systems integration. The demonstrated ability to conduct research and contribute to doctoral studies in this area is desired. Candidates should have a record of teaching, scholarship, publication and/or related professional experience. A Ph.D. is desirable.
The candidate should have the ability to teach core courses in environmental technology, including acoustics and lighting as well as electives with emphasis on sustainability.
