Academic Advising
Graduate Advising
A faculty advisor is assigned to each student before orientation. Students are allowed to change his or her advisor with permission of the program chair at any time. Students also use many of the faculty as informal advisors. In addition, second- and third-year students are also great resources of knowledge about courses, campus, etc. Any programmatic or administrative course questions must be directed to the college registrar.
Postgraduate and Doctoral Advising
Students are assigned faculty advisors based on their area of interest. Any questions should be directed to archdoc@umich.edu.
