The College believes providing access to software for members of the College community promotes a strong learning environment. As products are added they will be listed here. Some applications may require additional verification of your status.
Acoustic 2D and Acoustic 3D Simple modeling applications for visualizing sound reflections in rooms. Intended for instruction and early visualization of acoustic design issues. Developed by Taubman College Emeritus Professors James A. Turner and Norman E. Barnett.
ArcGIS 10 is now available through the University for personally-owned machines for academic/research/University-related purposes.
AutoDesk products, including AutoCAD 2011, AutoDesk 3ds Max Design 2011, AutoDesk Maya 2011, AutoDesk Ecotect Analysis 2011, AutoDesk Revit Architecture, and others. AutoDesk student versions include all features of commercial versions but include a print banner on output. (Registration required)
Bentley products including Microstation, Generative Components, STAAD Pro and others.
Dr. Software, including Dr. Beam Pro, Dr. Frame 2D, and Dr. Frame 3D. These are one year licenses, renewing on November 1. (Authentication required)
V-Ray for Rhino. Available for on-campus use only. (Authentication required).
VMWare products. College students, faculty, and staff can download one copy of several standard VMWare products free of charge. Student products expire in one year but can be purchased at an educational price at that time; faculty products are renewable. The link takes you to the store where products can be selected and downloaded.
