Please join us for the presentation of a UP 734 Professional Project next Thursday, April 20, at Noon in Room 2213: Information Networks Across Urban Space: University of Michigan’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.

Presenter: Rachel Jaffe, Human Computer Interaction MSI and Urban & Regional Planning MUP Student

Adviser: Robert Goodspeed

The University of Michigan is highly ranked for its entrepreneurship programs, but access to entrepreneurial resources is unevenly distributed across campus. This ecosystem is the focus of a professional project report for the Campus of the Future Bicentennial committee and advised by professor Robert Goodspeed. The report draws on interviews with dozens of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial leaders to understand how physical spaces shape student’s understanding of and interactions with the school’s entrepreneurship resources. The project aims to inform the university’s future investments in entrepreneurship.
