ZBrush 1: The 2.5D World - Plasticity and Painting

THERE WILL BE 22 COMPUTERS AVAILABLE TO USE WITH SEATING FOR 40; IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE BRING A LAPTOP WITH ZBRUSH TO ASSURE PARTICIPATION
This workshop will begin with an overview of Zbrush’s user interface, an understanding of “canvas” space, transformation tools and the basic uses of brushes. The main focus will be to familiarize students with sculpting objects, followed by an introduction to alpha and displacement maps. Students will then learn how to use some of the main “tool” and “subtool” menus in ZBrush. The workshop will conclude with a detailed explanation of importing/ exporting geometry and an outline of how ZBrush can be used to further focus design intentions.
