Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a practice of living in the moment by actively and openly observing one's physical, mental and emotional experiences. It is a means of reducing stress, improving attention, reducing emotional reactivity, and improving a general sense of health and well-being. These weekly sessions will be offered for three consecutive Thursdays in March (March 8, March 15, and March 22) from noon to 1 pm in room 2213 of the Art + Architecture Building. Taubman students can come to just one workshop or all three. Lunch will be provided. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those that would like a refresher.
