Asa Peller is a FABLab Research Associate and Lecturer at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. He holds a BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, and a Master’s of Science in Digital Technologies from Taubman College. With national and international experience in design, project management, manufacturing, and traditional craft processes, Asa looks to forge a holistic approach to design and technology in his work and teaching. Excited by the potential of the FABLab as a hub in the Taubman College community, he is focused on facilitating the work of others and strategizing workflows within the lab. As an instructor, Asa is hoping to share with his students his experience as a craftsperson and fabricator, as well as his enthusiasm for design thinking, technique, and craft.
