Dave Pigram is founding partner of the advanced computational architecture practice supermanoeuvre (with Iain Maxwell). He is a New York based designer and academic.

Dave's work has been exhibited in the UN Habitat World Urban Forum, the National Museum of Australia, Beijing Architecture Biennale, Gallery of Australian Design, RAIA National Headquarters, SCI-Arc as well as in Lisbon, Paris, Florence, New York, Detroit, Lexington, Bogota, Melbourne and Auckland. He has lectured on supermanoeuvre's work internationally, including at the Architectural Association [London], Princeton and Columbia Universities, The Pratt Institute, Aalborg University [Denmark], The University of San Carlos [Philippines] and the University of Canberra [Australia].

A graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture Preservation and Planning, Dave has studied in USA, Australia. Finland and Thailand and holds a Masters of Science in Advanced Architectural Design, a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Design. His global education is matched by international professional experience having worked in the USA, Australia, Ireland, Hong Kong and United Kingdom as well as leading a pro-bono development aid project in India.

Awarded the Marten Bequest Traveling Scholarship, an Australian Government Research Grant and the Rotary Youth Leadership Award, in 2003 Dave was one of seven graduates across Australia to receive the RAIA Chapter Medallion.

In 2006 Mr. Pigram was hired by Daniel Libeskind to take a leading role in projects such as a 5.5 billion Euro scheme to expand Monaco into the Mediterranean Sea and a competition design for the Parliament House of Hong Kong.

Dave has taught at Columbia University, the Architectural Association, The Pratt Institute, the University of Michigan, the University of Canberra and San Carlos University in the Phillipines. He has served on invited review panels at MIT, Cornell, SCI-Arc and the University of Pennsylvania and is a co-founder of Apo Mechanes, an annual private intensive studio into algorithmic architecture in Athens, Greece.

Dave is currently on the design faculty at the Pratt Institute in New York, serves on the advisory panel for the Masters of Digital Design Program at the University of Canberra and is a University of Michigan Visiting Professor of Practice, teaching graduate design studios and co-directing research into algorithmic and robotic fabrication.

He played a viking in the largest Bollywood film ever made.
