Laura-Anne Wong is a Lecturer at the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. She is also currently working as a Designer at PORT Urbanism, a leading-edge design consultancy based in Chicago, specializing in the analysis, visioning, design and implementation of new forms of collective space, ranging in scale from plazas and public waterfronts to institutional framework plans and regional planning strategies. Before joining PORT Urbanism in 2015, she worked on multiple large-scale architectural projects at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM), Benoy in London, DP Architects in Singapore, and Snøhetta in San Francisco. Ms. Wong holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Architecture from the University of Sheffield, and a Masters of Architecture (with High Distinction) from the University of Michigan. As a graduate student, she was selected to teach undergraduate architecture design studios and hand-drawing classes.
