Laura-Anne Wong

Laura-Anne Wong is a Lecturer at the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she is teaching graduate-level and undergraduate-level architecture and urban design courses. She is also currently working as an Architectural and Urban Designer at PORT Urbanism, a leading-edge design consultancy based in Chicago, specializing in the analysis, visioning, design and implementation of new forms of collective space, ranging in scale from plazas and public waterfronts to institutional framework plans and regional planning strategies. Before joining PORT Urbanism in 2015, she worked on multiple large-scale architectural projects at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM), Benoy in London, DP Architects in Singapore, and Snøhetta in San Francisco. Ms. Wong holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Architecture from the University of Sheffield, and a Masters of Architecture (with High Distinction) from the University of Michigan.
