Architecture Chair John McMorrough and Lecturer Christian Unverzagt discuss Simulations at Ohio State's Envisioning Organization

Taubman College Architecture Chair and principal of studioAPT, John McMorrough, will moderate a panel entitled Simulations at the Envisioning Organization: Architecture + Information Conference on Nov. 6 at Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture. The panel, which includes a presentation by Taubman College Lecturer and principal of m1/dtw, Christian Unverzagt, aims to discuss how the visual helps to brand and structure new identities and invent new worlds.

The Envisioning Organization Conference takes place Nov. 5 – 6, 2010, and includes presentations on the following topics, in addition to Simulations: Clarification, editing and simplifying complex systems; Augmentation, designing across systems and disciplines; and Revelation, visualizing practices over power. “Envisioning Organization” explores these design methodologies and seeks to understand and theorize their implications on practice by looking laterally across disciplines of architecture, graphic design, landscape architecture and urbanism.
