“An Appropriation of Means: The Advent of Installation as a Critical Tool of Architecture”, an article co-authored by Masters of Science in Architecture, Digital Technologies & Material Systems student Aaron Willette with Robert Trumbour (Assistant Professor, Wentworth Institute of Technology), was published in the current issue of Big Red & Shiny, an online contemporary art and culture journal. Looking at the history of installation starting from the 1960’s, the article positions the medium as an interdisciplinary tool that can be utilized to help expand the field of architecture.
