Taubman College ranked top-5 in AICP’s Comprehensive Planning Examination pass rates

The American Planning Associations (APA) recently released a summary of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Comprehensive Planning Examination pass rates. Taubman College ranked 3rd out of 25 1st quartile programs whose graduates took the exam – the only certification exam for practicing urban planners.

The AICP Comprehensive Planning Examination tests the knowledge and skills of candidates eligible for membership in AICP. The pass rates are based on examination attempts that occurred between 2004 and 2012 of graduates of PAB–accredited planning programs in the United States and Canada.

The American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) is the professional institute of the APA and provides recognized leadership nationwide in the certification of professional planners, ethics, professional development, planning education, and the standards of planning practice.
