Taubman students sweep school-wide scholarship competition

Each year the University of Michigan chapter of Phi Kappa Phi awards scholarships to students who “recognize and promote academic excellence in all fields of higher education and to engage the community of scholars in service to others.” Applicants must also demonstrate academic excellence, be involved in meaningful activities, have well-defined ongoing educational and long-term goals, as well as represent the excellence of the University of Michigan Community.

This year, Taubman College students Andrew Wald (M.Arch ’14) and Heidi Wong (M.Arch ’15) swept the graduate student competition. Each will each receive $3000 scholarships for the 2013-14 school year. Both Andrew and Heidi will service as student vice presidents for the U-M chapter of Phi Kappa Phi for the 2013-2014 academic year.
