‘Vast Machines’ Studio opens exhibition at UM’s Museum of Natural History

Graduate students in Meredith Miller’s ‘Vast Machines’ Studio have created an exhibition titled, “Scales of Contact: Architecture and Global Infrastructures” opening December 16 at the University of Michigan’s Museum of Natural History.

Scales of Contact is a presentation of ten graduate architecture students’ projects as a collection of work and looks to re-examine the world in which we live in and, in turn, how we envision potential responses. More specifically, it looks to ask the question, “If you had to model the world, what would it include?”

The exhibition, held in the rotunda of the UM Museum of Natural History, opens December 16 and will remain on display throughout the winter break.
