Kiely to present ‘Minoru Yamasaki and the Architecture of Inequality’ in Japan

Joss Kiely, a doctoral candidate in the architecture program, will be presenting a paper in Osaka, Japan in April at the Asian Conference on Arts and Humanities, “Minoru Yamasaki and the Architecture of Inequality”.

In addition to the paper presentation, he will be traveling to Tokyo, Kyoto, Kobe, and Hiroshima to visit sites by Minoru Yamasaki (Sheraton Miyako Hotel, Tokyo and the US Consulate in Kobe) and Kenzo Tange (Olympic Stadium and St. Mary’s Cathedral, Tokyo), and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial.
