Daubmann presents at ACSA Intersections Conference at the 2015 AIA National Convention

Associate Professor Karl Daubmann will be presenting Chicago-centric work in the Resilient Communities session of the ACSA Intersections Conference taking place on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the AIA National Convention in Atlanta. Daubmann will be examining the rules of infrastructural research in the Chicago from his research initiated by his 2014 Taubman College Research on the City grant. This ACSA conference is expected to explore the intersection of architectural education and it’s practical application through group discussions, blind peer-reviewing exercises, and the presentations of various guest lecturers. Presentations are focused on the four themes of: healthy and resilient communities, materials and fabrication, applied research, and open category on architectural education and practice.

Also, during last week’s AIA Convention in Cincinnati, Daubmann delivered a keynote speech, speaking mainly of project delivery models as catalysts of transformation in technology, business, and design practices.
