Adams and Ray Participate in “Flux:Mapping the Middle Zone Exhibition” in Shenzhen, China

Associate Professor of Architecture, Robert Adams and Professor of Practice, Marry-Ann Ray, in collaboration with USC’s School of Architecture and USC’s American Academy in China, have been engaging in a multi-city research project examining the growth of rural, outlying areas between Chinese cities; also known as the “middle zone”. The main initiative of the project is to understand the ambiguous condition of blurred territories caused by changing relationships between urban and rural Chinese villages. China in Flux:Mapping the Middle Zone opened July 23, 2015 at the AVIC Legend Factory Hall in Shenzhen, China and will be traveling to the Shanghai Urban Space Art Season, September 27 – November 31.
