McEwen Leads Interactive Design Session in Pittsburgh

On November 30th, 2016, Assistant Professor of Architecture V. Mitch McEwen lead an interactive design session at Pittsburgh’s City of Asylum’s Alphabet City to brainstorm how the resources from reparations to descendants of enslaved African Americans could be used to reshape a city like Pittsburgh. Using craft supplies in a fast-paced, culturally engaged session attendees brainstormed answers to “This Is What We Will Build When We Get Our Reparations.”
