Professor Martin Murray has published widely on urban issues in Africa. His books include Taming the Disorderly City: The Spatial Landscape of Johannesburg after Apartheid (2008, Cornell University Press), and Cities in Contemporary Africa: Place, Politics and Livelihood (2006, Palgrave-McMillan).
Students are invited to join Professor Murray for lunch after the presentation.
