This seminar, which includes lunch, is reserved for Architecture Doctoral Program students and faculty. If space permits, any other interested persons are welcome to participate. Please contact Lisa Hauser at weeze@umich.edu to reserve a place and to receive the readings that Prof. Leatherbarrow has requested be read beforehand.

David Leatherbarrow is professor of architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and chair of the graduate group in architecture. His books include: Topographical Stories (2004), Surface Architecture (with Mohsen Mostafavi, 2002), Uncommon Ground (2000), Roots of Architectural Invention (1993), On Weathering: The Life of Buildings in Time (with Mohsen Mostafavi, 1993) and Masterpieces of Architectural Drawing (edited with Helen Powell, 1982).
