East Side Neighborhoods Create Vision for Future Sustainability

Students from Dean Emeritus Robert Beckley's urban design studio will be working on a charrette in Detroit February 6-8, 2009, staying in Detroit all weekend to work on their community-generated project. The students will be working together with architecture students from University of Detroit Mercy and Lawrence Technological University in four integrated teams. In addition to Beckley and his students, other participants from Taubman College include Craig Wilkins and Eric Dueweke. University of Michigan alumnus Dorian Moore from ArchiveDS in Detroit will also be leading one of the teams.
