This is the opening reception for Urban-Rural Connections: Sustainability in a Volatile World.
Rackham will feature keynote speaker Attorney and Economist Michael Shuman, Vice President for Enterprise and Development for the Training & Development Corporation (TDC) of Bucksport, Maine. He is the author of several books, including The Small-Mart Revolution: How Local Businesses Are Beating the Global Competition and Going Local: Creating Self-Reliant Communities in the Global Age.
