The Rackham Graduate School's Commencement Ceremony

Hill Auditorium
Graduates receiving master’s or doctoral degrees through the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies are invited to attend Rackham’s commencement program, University Graduate Exercises. Held in Hill Auditorium, the formal ceremony celebrates and individually recognizes the achievement of the Graduate School’s master’s and doctoral recipients.
Tickets are not required for this program and there will be general seating. Most of the seating on the main floor of Hill Auditorium is reserved for the graduates. It is recommended that families and guests plan to sit in the first or second balcony. Staff will assist guests to accessible seating located in the rear center section of the main floor.
