Teman Evans combines his fascination with the intersection of design, branding, and popular culture into a unique architecture practice based from New York City. In addition to teaching at Taubman College, he is the CEO of DIOSCURI, a product design company that he co-founded with his identical twin brother. DIOSCURI's products can be found on the shelves of hundreds of department stores in the U.S. and Europe, and its work has appeared on several major TV networks' including FOX's American Idol, MTV, and multiple features on the Oprah Winfrey Show. He is currently in production on a show about design for the Sundance Channel. Hehas worked for Rem Koolhaas' Office for Metropolitan Architecture in the Netherlands, and he has also appeared in multiple media outlets, including Time Magazine, Wallpaper, The New York Times and on the HGTV television network's hit show, Design Star.
Evans received his M.Arch with advanced placement from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, during which time he was nominated for a Fulbright Fellowship and his thesis work was nominated for the prestigious James Templeton Kelly Thesis Prize. He holds a magna cum laude B.S. in architecture from the University of Florida.
