Master of Science in Architecture: Digital Technologies Open House
Art + Architecture Building
The Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning invites you to a presentation and discussion led by specialization coordinator and Associate Professor Karl Daubmann to learn about the Master of Science in Architecture: Digital Technologies. Coursework, expectations, and projects will be discussed, in addition to an introduction to the faculty and facilities. A light breakfast will be provided.
The Master of Science in Architecture: Digital Technologies (MS_DT) specialization offers motivated participants the opportunity to investigate design practices and conduct independent design research in computer-aided design and advanced fabrication techniques. Project-based research provides a "testing ground" for new modes of practice and innovative uses of existing, new and emerging technologies. The program builds upon a tradition of cutting-edge technical research at Taubman College, the University of Michigan, and in the Detroit Region. University of Michigan offers unmatched excellence in digital fabrication and access to world-class lab and production facilities and regional linkages to industry. For more.
The MS_DT application deadline is March 1, 2011. Interested applicants are encouraged to ask questions about the program by contacting Karl Daubmann, MS_DT Program Coordinator.
