Join us for an opening reception:
MS_DR Exhibition 2011: What's the frequency, Kenneth?
Exploring spatial affiliations between institutions, territories and subjects, the Master of Science in Architecture/Design Research (MS_DR) seeks new models of practice within a contemporary digital culture that compels us to do so.
The MS_DR asserts ideas, ideation, and the making of theory as grounds for an independently pursued research path. Studio work places architecture deep inside its cultural site of reckoning, working vividly with media influences, technological imperatives, and representational biases within contemporary digital culture. Studio practices collude with the rigors of seminar work in an effort to push design work towards applied research. The exhibit dates: April 19-May 6, 2011
