Dress Rehearsal: UP 634 "Urban Alternatives House" (UAH) Capstone project The UAH is a joint effort by the University of Michigan-Flint and the Genesee County Land Bank to give a "green makeover" to a blighted, tax-foreclosed home. The two institutions aim to create a mix of classroom and residential space that will serve as a research and education center for the University, as a catalyst for renewed social and financial investment in the surrounding neighborhood, and as a model for energy-efficient rehabilitation and sustainable living.
