Chris Leinberger is a land use strategist, developer, and author helping to make progressive development profitable. He is a visiting fellow at The Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., focusing on research and practices that help transform traditional and suburban downtowns and other places to provide "walkable urbanity." Leinberger has written award-winning articles for publications such as the Atlantic Monthly, Wall Street Journal, and Urban Land magazine, among others. He has been profiled by national broadcast and print media such as CNN and the Today Show, among others. Leinberger is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Harvard Business School.
