Kelly Quinn explores the dynamic relationship between people and the built environment in her research and teaching. She is interested in collaborative projects between universities and communities that uncover and preserve local histories. She received her Ph.D. in American Studies (2006), a Certificate of Historic Preservation (2005), Certificate of Women's Studies (1998), and an M.A. in American Studies, (1997) all from the University of Maryland. She also holds an A.B. from Trinity College, Washington, DC, 1991, Phi Beta Kappa and Cum Laude, and spent her sophomore year at St. Julie Hall, Oxford, England.

Teaches architecture, urban design, and community development Craig Wilkins received his doctorate from the University of Minnesota, his master's degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in real estate and urban development, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture. In 1991, along with several designers, Mr. Wilkins, a registered architect, helped establish the collaborative BAKARI Design and he has worked as a designer, project architect, and urban consultant in Washington, D.C., New York, Houston, and Minneapolis.

Teaches effects of urban development and policy on women
Sujata Shetty completed both her Masters of Urban Planning and her Ph.D. at the University of Michigan, and in 2003 earned the Distinguished Dissertation Award. Shetty has focused much of her research on the effect of urban development and policy on women, and applies her knowledge as an urban affairs consultant.
