The Urban and Regional Research Collective (URRC) runs a monthly seminar series. Past topics ranged from EU spatial planning to plans for older American industrial cities and from sustainable transportation to planners' relationship with the press. In addition, Taubman College has an extensive program of lectures, exhibitions and conferences. These events aim to create a setting for students, faculty and the public to see and hear about the work of award-winning designers, to discuss and understand building and planning for the environment and to advocate social and environmental justice. The series includes the Raoul Wallenberg Lecture, the John Dinkeloo Memorial Lecture, the Guido A. Binda Lecture and Exhibit and the Charles and Ray Eames Lecture.
