WATERSHED (or) Wrapping Sheds with Water
Water+Sheds revisits the "atlas" as a platform for establishing and synthesizing relationships between the trans-scalar nature of hydrological systems and tectonic design research. Exploring these cartographies foregrounds a unique opportunity to engage the set of individual experiences that inform the collective imaginary of the Great Lakes watershed. This dynamic atlas brings together materiality and visualization techniques that allow these readings to engage diverse audiences. In doing so, it sparks a symbiosis between the nested multi-scalar and dynamic nature of water, and material intelligence and performance-based policy.
