Real Estate Excellence Awards

Crain’s Detroit Business, the Grand Rapids Business Journal and the University of Michigan/Urban Land Institute Real Estate Forum are seeking successful real estate executives. The awards honor both the Greater Grand Rapids and Greater Detroit areas’ most prestigious real estate professionals—those who have the vision and leadership to attain significant achievements in the industry and reshape their respective communities.

The program seeks nominees who represent diversity in age, gender, race, profession and geographic location. Final selections are made by a panel of judges consisting of the editorial staffs of Crain’s Detroit Business and the Grand Rapids Business Journal, and economic development experts from both regions.

Awardees will be profiled in Crain’s Detroit Business and the Grand Rapids Business Journal in November. Awardees will also be invited to participate in a panel discussion at the 23rd Annual University of Michigan/Urban Land Institute Real Estate Forum November 11 and 12. Awards will be given in the following categories:

  • Real Estate Excellence Award (East Side)
  • Real Estate Excellence Award (West Side)
  • Development of the Year (East Side)
  • Development of the Year (West Side)
  • Sale/Lease of the Year (East Side)
  • Sale/Lease of the Year (West Side)
